304 Grade Stainless steel accounts for more than 50% of all stainless steel produced, represents between 50 and 60% of Australia’s consumption of stainless materials and finds applications in almost every industry.
The composition was developed by W. H. Hatfield at Firth-Vickers in 1924, and can withstand corrosion from most oxidizing acids. This durability makes it easier to sanitise which is why it is ideal for kitchen and food applications. It is also common in buildings, décor, and interior furnishings.
Pittella 304 Grade Stainless Steel ancillary items are manufactured from just that. It resists ordinary corrosion in most architectural applications, is cost effective and durable in harsh atmospheric conditions.
